HISTORY & PHYSICAL LOCATION
Sacks Surveying
& Mapping P.C. was formed in 2005 in
Greensboro,
North
Carolina. We were an
established branch office of another corporation. We have served
central and western NC since 1985. Our specialty was and is commercial,
industrial, boundary, topography, construction, subdivision &
mapping projects. Sacks
Surveying & Mapping, P. C. is a Professional Corporation
organized under Chapter 55b of the General Statutes of
North
Carolina.
Our office is located at
3308-B
Edgefield Road
Greensboro,
NC
27409. Although based in NC, we have
continually expanded our registration and offer professional land
surveying services in
the following states:
NORTH
CAROLINA
-
DELAWARE
- WEST
VIRGINIA-
FLORIDA
We
also joint venture projects in VA, SC, TN &
OH
INSURANCE
We carry statutory limits on Worker’s Comp and our vehicle
liability insurance is 1 million CSL . We have 2 million dollars in
business liability insurance, 1 million in professional liability
and an umbrella policy
of an additional
1 million dollars. We are able to provide a certificate of
insurance for each specific project as
necessary.
PERSONNEL
We are currently operating four field survey crews.
With this many crews available we are able to respond to projects of
significant size. Our
office is staffed with three Professional Land Surveyors / CADD
technicians and a Controller.
EQUIPMENT
We continue to
update our field and office equipment to maintain our balance
between time tested methods
and emerging technologies. Our crews are equipped with
Topcon series 300 total stations or series 800 robotic total
stations, graphics capable data collectors and all support
equipment. We currently use Ashtech GPS receivers &
controllers and have the software necessary for
mission planning, implementation and in-house data reduction. Our
CADD drafting environment is AutoCAD 2000 enabling us to exchange
data with virtually any
Engineering, Architectural or Surveying firm.
